18-20.06.2021 auto24ring will host for the seventh time the biggest international circuit race in the Baltic States, the BaTCC Estonian Grand Prix 2021.
"Due to the limitations of the corona virus, we were forced to cancel the event last year, but in order to ensure that this year's event is held with dignity, we decided to join forces with BaTCC (The Baltic Touring Car Championship)," said Martin Miilberg, the organiser of the event.
Up to 9 countries are expected to take part in the race and over 150 racers will start. Hopefully, the restrictions will be relaxed enough in June to allow us to open up all the grandstands to spectators and offer more than just a great adrenaline-fuelled experience.
From this year onwards, there will also be some new additions to the BcTCC Estonian Grand Prix organising team. The BcTCC Estonian Grand Prix 2021 organising team is now led by Martin Miilberg. "I have been actively involved in Toivo and Kristel Asmer's organising team for three years and have gained a lot of experience, and now I have the courage to start organising races myself. I really hope that both Toivo and Jüri Raudsik from the moto side will help me with their advice and contacts, and that I will be accepted by the various organising teams. I have to admit that motorsport has won my heart", said Miilberg.
"Martin is a hard-working and tough young man, with whom we have been organising major competitions for many years. Martin is punctual and conscientious, and his lack of experience in motorsport is compensated by his great drive and tenacity. Organising races is a big challenge, but I believe that Martin and his team are worthy successors to the Estonian Grand Prix," explains Toivo Asmer, who previously managed the event.
