Already this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, the biggest car racing event in Estonia this summer - the "Grand Prix 2014" will take place. It will bring to the most modern circuit in the Nordic countries, auto24ring, located in the Audru municipality, near Pärnu, almost a hundred race cars, a great all-round parade and musical entertainment by Estonian and foreign artists. There are several reasons not to miss this great weekend at auto24ring.
First: So many race cars have never competed on the new Auto24ring before. The Estonian, Latvian, Baltic and Finnish championship stage and all classes from Finland, including the ultra-attractive Porsche GT3 Cup Trophy and the V8 Thunder Cup or Camaro Cup, which will bring hundreds of horsepower to the auto24ring.
Secondly, Estonia's domestic Formula One class is gaining momentum, and in the Formula Scandic class, the opening stage will see the entry of eight Formula One cars instead of five, including young Ralf Aron, who this year will be competing in the Formula Renault Northern Europe and Swedish series.
Third: Can 13-year-old Gabriel Dominic Sergo, racing in his first season in the BMW 325 Cup class, repeat his third and fourth places in the opening stage and what speed has pop star Koit Toome built up in the same class.
Fourthly: Saturday is not just a race at the Auto24ring, but a full day of action. There will be a big party on the track and live concerts by Hellad Velled and Getter Jaani from Estonia and the hot duo Ottawan from France. Children will be able to have fun in the area set up for them and there will also be a variety of catering on site.
Fifthly, in view of the above reasons, it is simply impossible to stay away from this summer's biggest motor racing event.
On Saturday, Estonia's biggest Koguperelaat will open at 10.00 on the auto24ring and at the same time you can already watch the first training sessions on the track. The first race starts at 12.00 on both days. The Ottawan concert will start at 19.00 on the evening of 28 June at the auto24ring, followed by an evening disco lasting until almost midnight. Before that, Estonian music stars Getter Jaani and Hellad Velled will entertain the audience between 13.00 and 14.00 hours.
