The Latvian Uldis Timaks belongs to the Papa's Racing Team from Jurmala together with the young Valters Zviedris. On the last round at Ahvenisto Timaks did not have much luck as he suffered from technical problems in the first race and had to start the second race from the last position. In the second race he was 15th.th and in the third 8th. This weekend in Pärnu both Latvians will for sure put in a stronger effort against the Finns.
Please describe the auto24ring track - what do you like or not like about it?
auto24ring is like a second home track for me. The track is very spectator-friendly and has very good services for customers and racers.
What are your plans for this season?
This season I am focusing mainly on Legends Cars, to find more confidence in myself and the car, to be more competitive in higher level races.
Tell us about your racing career in 5 (or maybe a couple more) sentences.
My goal allways is to perform as good as possible, I never choose the fastest and nicest cars. I am allways trying to find as good as possible oponents to compete with, and to find who is the fastest driver not the fastest car.
What advice would you give to a young kid who is only starting out as a racing driver?
Kids can start to feel like a real racer in karting. All good racing drivers come from karting and still use karting as practise. If the kid wants to drive a kart, it will teach him a lot of good thinks for life, like how to be disciplined, on target, be precise and get better, etc.

My aim is to provide always do my best. I never pick the fastest and most beautiful cars. I always try to find the best possible opponents, to compete against, to find who is the fastest driver, not the fastest driver. fastest car.
What would you recommend for a young guy just starting his racing career?
Children can feel like real racers when they ride the sword. All at good racers have started on a sword and ride for training. will continue to do so. If a child enjoys riding a sword, it teaches them to teaches them many things they need in life, such as discipline, goal focus, accuracy, how to get better, etc.
